Exceptionally large Corpus Christi, made of plaster and jute, indicating a traditional and earlier production technique. These materials suggest that this is an old statue. It is estimated to date from around 1900. The statue is of Italian origin and is characterised by a typical terracotta-coloured patina. From a Belgian private collection.
